The success of the little flower cart continues to amaze me.  This is our second year of selling flowers at the end of the driveway.  And let me tell you, it is a lot of work.  But it is truly a labor of love.

This past week has been extremely, dangerously hot.  But those dynamic zinnias just keep growing and blooming.  We have been fortunate in that we have had some very timely and substantial rain.

The flowers needed more shade from the piercing afternoon sun and protection from a sometimes strong west wind.  So I added a burlap curtain.  How cute is that!  I love burlap and always keep plenty on hand because you never know when you will need it.

And isn’t this adorable.  Thanks to my sister for giving me two old bicycles, which of course I am using to display flowers!!

Hope your summer is going well.  It is hard to believe that we are at the end of July.  Fall is just around the corner.  We plan on having more fall colored zinnias, sunflowers, and pumpkins!!
