BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Spring is certainly in the air!  The grass is green, the flowers are poking through the ground, and the birds are singing.  Although winter was fairly mild, we had quite a few daily visitors to the birdfeeder on the deck.

1

A female cardinal with just a tint of red on her head, wings, and tail feathers.

2

A male cardinal, who keeps his bright red color all winter long.

3

One of my favorites, a red-headed woodpecker.

4

And when he is not at the birdfeeder, he is perched on the light pole.

5

The shy dove blends in with the surrounding background.

Here is something you don’t see every day.  No it is not a weathervane.  It is a goose perched on the top of the machine shed!

7

Not one goose, but three geese!  I love living on Grange Hall Road!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time,

Pat
