I love fall. The brilliant, vibrant colors, the cool, crisp nip in the air and fall decorating. A couple of weeks ago, I spent some time outside getting ready for fall. Enjoy!
A great spot for the metal pumpkin between a pot of marigolds and the ever-blooming red rose bush. I have two of these and place one on each side of the garage door. They are so adorable in the evening with a battery light, which is much safer than a candle.
Lots of pumpkins for decorating!
Mums are great for fall decorating. I think I will plant one of these in the galvanized tub.
This large metal pumpkin (from my friend Deb of Rubbish to Rubies – like her on Facebook!) is perfect for fall decorating.
The mums and marigolds are thriving along the front of the house. Hopefully all the new mums that I am planting will come back as strong next spring. Notice the plants in the old wheelbarrow! Aren’t they spectacular! Thanks to my wonderful husband Murray who does a great job taking care of all the plants. He certainly has a green thumb. Once a farmer, always a farmer!
The soybeans are almost ready to be harvested. Only a few green leaves remain. I love fall, but fall means that winter is right around the corner!!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
Until next time,
Pat, Kathi, and Carla
