I am so happy to report that I returned to work last week and am feeling very good.  In fact, this is the best that I have felt for the past two months!  I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will continue to stay healthy.  Thanks for all of your positive thoughts and prayers.  They certainly do make a difference.

Since Valentines’ Day is right around the corner, I thought I would share with you some of the vintage valentines that belonged to my husband Murray’s grandmother.

Most of the Valentines are large and actually have a tab in the back that allows them to stand up.

They are so intricate and beautiful – almost three-dimensional.  Notice the message at the bottom “To My Love”.

If you look closely, it says “To My Valentine”.  I love these vintage cards and am so extremely fortunate to have these family treasures.

Since I am back on my feet and feeling good, I have a number of projects in the works that I will be sharing with you in the weeks to come.  First up, we are getting rid of the carpeting in the living room and hallway and will be putting down hardwood flooring!  This will be a good time to reorganize, rearrange, and spring cleaning!!!  More updates on that project to follow.
