The dining room table is decorated.
Looking spectacular in red, white, and blue.
Mason jars painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint are perfect for displaying the flags.
Did I mention that I love mason jars. This larger one is also painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and makes a lovely vase for flowers from the cutting flower garden. A piece of twine tied around the jars adds the finishing touch. And of course, burlap makes everything better. I could not find a table runner that I liked or fit well on the table. So I made this using burlap and calico fabric. It is reversible.
The weather is glorious today. And the forecast for tomorrow is looking great.
More flags at the end of the lane surrounding the Centennial Farm sign. The mailbox is original to the farm. The old saying is that corn should be “knee high by the fourth of July”. Considering the record rainfall we had during the month of June, our corn crop is looking very good.
I give thanks every day for the many blessings in my life – my wonderful family, our lovely home, and this great country that we live in.
Happy Fourth of July to you and yours!!
Thanks for stopping.
Until next time,
Pat
